Since the birth of Hutong School in a small Beijing alley in 2005, we have opened a number of branches and partnerships in countries around the world. Each of our schools adopts our award-winning teaching methodology and comprehensive course package, giving more and more people access to quality Chinese tuition.

BEIJING
As our first location and the inspiration for the Hutong School name, Beijing is our longest standing branch. Since opening in a hutong in 2005, we’ve moved to the heart of the Central Business District, where students can enjoy the lively local area and immerse themselves in modern-day China.
SHANGHAI
Located in the popular Jing’an District, our Shanghai school offers students a true taste of east meets west; just a stone’s throw from the famous Jing’an Temple and a range of restaurants and bars serving Chinese and international cuisine, there is always something to see.
HANGZHOU
Since opening our third branch in China in 2015, we have welcomed hundreds of international students to Hangzhou. As China’s most forward-thinking city for technology and innovation, this up-and-coming city has a lot to offer in terms of culture, language and professional development.
CHENGDU
Our most ‘off the beaten track’ location opened in 2017 and has proved a popular choice for students looking for something a bit different. As the most quickly developing metropolis in western China, Chengdu is becoming an increasingly exciting place to learn Chinese or do an internship.
SUZHOU
We offer a range of Chinese courses and services in Suzhou that have been specially designed to help you gain professional experience and develop your language skills.
